ISU gets ass handed to them at home to a Sun Belt team
K-State loses at home to a Sun Belt team
Kansas gets routed at home by Coastal Carolina
Texas Tech beat Houston Baptist 35-33.
Oklahoma and Texas are probably looking frantically for a way to escape the mess that is the Big 12
 
The only really terrible loss is to a bunch of Calvin's. The Kansas is Kansas. ISU and KSU coaches are unproven at this level.

No real home field advantage.

As Tony Baber once said at EIU...1AA....we can match up our starters pretty well with anyone. Its when injuries happen or when starters get tired when things fall apart. No depth. UNI should have beaten a really good Iowa team.

While that mentality works for us Big Ten fans, I'm not sure its as comforting to an ISU fan. I was actually thinking about that very same thing Sunday while talking with my brother-in-law. The conversation hinged on no matter how weird it felt not watching an Iowa game that day it was still hilarious watching ISU get punched in the mouth.

While there's reason to be disappointed or confused regarding Iowa not playing, I don't think its fair to say that because they aren't playing we can't enjoy a good ISU beat down.
