Pataky rolled up a lot of back points in the 1st and now leads 10-2 after the 1st.

THis should be a barn burner. Schmidt is hard to score on and likes to keep things close and frustrate guys.

Ballweg gets in on a low single but gets his head down and Schmidt comes around for the takedown. 45 seconds left and Ballweg has to get out.

Ballweg gets ridden out and will take down to start the 2nd period trailing 2-0.
