Big 10 Games - Who do we want to win?

Iowa isn't going to win the Big 10. Even if we win out I still don't think both Michigan State and Michigan will lose 4 conference games this year. With this in mind these are the teams I want to win in the next 7 days.

NE @ NW - Northwestern because we played them twice and won by 26 each time

MI @ IA - Hawks of course

PU @ OSU - Purdue because Ohio State is right behind us in the standings

IN @ MN - Minnesota to get both teams to 6 losses

MSU @ WI - Michigan State because Wisconsin is right behind us and my general dislike for Wisconsin and their coach

IL @ PSU - Penn State because I don't like Illinois and neither is a threat in the standings

MI @ OSU - Michigan because Ohio State is right behind us in the standings

PSU @ IN - Penn State to give Indiana another loss and to get Iowa's attention going into next Saturday

IL @ NE - Illinois because we play them twice

NW @ MSU - Michigan State to bring Northwestern back to earth/reality

MN @ WI - Minnesota because I don't like Wisconsin and want to see Wisconsin keep losing at home

Good assessments, cept that I would not mind Neb beating NW, just to knock NW down to 6 losses. Need to get that two game bulge on the pack back asap. Love to see OSU, Wis.,NW and IU all go down this weekend.

It would not surprise me if MICH ends up with 4-5 losses too.

On road at Iowa, tOSU and IL, and home v MSU and Wisky. There are some perils facing them as well.

Iowa can still finish out at 12-4, 11-5.

I'm waffling on MSU-Wis. Keeping Wisc as high as possible so when the Hawks throttle them in IC it looks better.

As of now all my rooting interests are based on helping us finish 3rd in the conference. If one of the Michigan schools lose a couple that will change.

Although it is not likely, Iowa can still win the B1G with 4 losses. In 2012 there was a 3 way tie with 5 losses, and in 2010 there was a 3 way tie with 4 losses, and last year IU won with 4 losses

If we win today our toughest games are Wisconsin at home and @ MSU at the end of the season.

I say we want MSU to Lose
OSU to Win (Need that road OSU win to be a signature win at this point)

If there is a 3 way tie, does anyone know what the tie breaker rules are?

I'm also hoping for a MSU loss.

So if MICH gets beat by 10 @ IU and 20 @ Iowa in last wk, is it not also reasonable to assume this team has at least 1-2 more road losses?

I have no doubt that Michigan could lose 4 or 5 conference games and finish 14-4 or 13-5. I don't think Michigan State is going to lose more than 3. We're still in the mix for 2nd. My signature hasn't changed since last April. But I'm still going to cheer against the teams sitting right behind us.

NE @ NW - Northwestern (NE doesn't hurt anything)

MI @ IA - Hawks (left no doubt)

PU @ OSU - Purdue (wasn't ever likely...just wishful thinking)

IN @ MN - Minnesota (did their job)

MSU @ WI - Michigan State because Wisconsin is right behind us and my general dislike for Wisconsin and their coach

I'm still pulling for the conference title until we're eliminated.

I'm pulling for the same...just not predicting it. I know people have all kinds of varying opinions on this. That's why the thread title is presented as a question...followed by my preferences as of now.

Sparty still has tOSU, Wisky, and MICH on road and Iowa at home, and w/ Out their 'triple jumper' Appling too.

There will be more Spartan blood shed....

What's the story on Appling? Other than Iowa I've been out of the loop the last few days.

I would love to see that game at MSU be for the Title with Iowa finally putting it all together on the road vs #1 NC2A seed. That would be epic.
