Big 10/ACC Challenge thread

I thought I'd start a thread just for the challenge. Watching the Minnesota/Virginia game right now. Virginia leading in 2nd half 61-54.

This would be a pretty big let down if Minnesota were to lose. If the Big Ten doesnt win the Challenge this year, they may never win it...

They won it last year though. I agree that Minnesota needs to win. They are not looking good though. Down 68-57 now

Oh, i thought we were still winless. Nevermind. Makes sense since they havent mentioned it this year.

Big Ten is 1-10, and Iowa has the worst record in the Big Ten at 2-6 :(

Every time I think about Iowa's performances in the challenge, I unfortunately think of that debacle in Chicago where Duke just killed us. I was so pumped for that game. I hate Duke, I love the Bulls(was on their floor), and I love the Hawks. That loss stung a little.

Minnesota is not looking good. I still like how the big ten stacks up against them this year though. Hopefully Iowa can help out the big ten this year for a change...

Minnesota killing themselves at the line. Missed two consecutive front ends and then just missed two off of a shooting foul. Looks like ACC 1 Big Ten 0

Minnesota proved their worth early by beating UNC, Siena, Wofford and West Virginia. They should still figure into the top 3 or 4 of the Big Ten.

Ill be interested to see how a 6-0 IU team does on the road against BC. IU really hasnt played even a decent team yet. Maybe you can consider Wright St. decent, but that is a stretch.

That was a crazy game from a fan's perspective. I think I saw about half a dozen fist fights in the crowd. Insane.

This does not bode well for the Big Ten. We really needed our "powers" to win their home games. I hope we can do our part tomorrow night.
