BHGP Perspective

After reading that, I feel like a spoiled brat for ragging on the team and the coaches. So many more good memories than bad. In your title "perspective" is the key.

Had a friend fwd that to me yesterday. Fantastic piece. Maybe ironic, but the most memorable thing from that piece for me was the comment that the Pitt game was the first time many of us openly questioned Ferentz' decision-making. I recall being dumbfounded in the 2nd half of that game not seeing Stanzi, and if I remember correctly I think the commentators were also questioning why Stanzi wasn't playing. And relatedly, I'm sure not we've stopped questioning the Ferentz/KOK offensive strategy, rightly or wrongly.

I think conventional wisdom was that he was giving JC a last chance to hold onto his job against a non conference opponent.
