BF contradicts Barta?

ESPN has an ombudsman you should contact if you have questions about their supposed objectivity.

I have emailed the ombudsman before to correct some basic factual errors in one of their stories (totally different situation than this one). The online story was never corrected. Not sure if the ombudsman is the correct person for factual errors, but I do now wonder if the ombudsman contact info is simply a way for them to speed complaints to their trash bin.

This is entirely my opinion but I do think that their objectivity is in large part based upon on the personal stance from their senior writers. Forde and the other guy in the case of what I'm talking about.

ESPN is the biggest piece of crap network out there. I'd rather spend an hour watching Oprah's ntework than those db's.

So did ESPN question Penn State's hiring of Joe Paterno's son?

Did PSU have an administrative policy to, at least, investigate nepotism hirings like Iowa? The U of I wants to appear to, at least, be following all of their regulations in this matter. It's politics.

Agee, the policy is the problem, not ESPN. Iowa wrote an overly-stringent policy, and now the athletic department has to play the part of a fool to make it work.
