Please..... no more games on ESPN2. I've had to watch three games this season with the sound muted.

Maybe you can get Dolph and Eddie on radio or streaming. I love Eddie's analysis but Dolph is getting a little mistake prone on the play by play but he is all Hawks.

She's back next week at Purdue!! I mute and listen to Dolph and eddy. It's kinda refreshing. I never appreciated eddy's insight until seeing it match with TV, he really is knowledgeable.

The only thing that sucks is that it's behind the TV coverage. So I have to pause the TV and let them catch up, which means I can't flip during commercials and check other games. I guess that's what my phone is for.

At this point I feel bad for Beth having to watch this pathetic Iowa team pillow fight other pathetic teams. Plus half of the fan base mutes her anyways.

I loved her insight on Minnesota's last drive. Down 7, she starts talking about Minnesota's field goal kicker and his range...then catches herself. If I'm not mistaken Beth, you have pretty much watched the whole game...and Iowa just scored a touchdown and a two point conversion. That was hilarious.

I think we should maybe have Donald Trump take a run at her like a "bitch" (this term in that situation was new to me)...and see if he can get her out of there through predatory sexual behavior...it's our only hope.

Who is your cable/satellite provider and how are you listening to the game? We have DirecTV and usually listen to 100.7 KKRQ out of Cedar Rapids. The radio is at least a solid 10-15 seconds ahead of TV when we watch the games. I wish I could pause the radio to let the TV catch up.

I actually don't mind Beth too much, but always enjoy prefer Gary & Ed's commentary.

I turned the sound down on the tv and listened to Dolph and Ed for whole game.Agree about Dolph don't know what he's watching sometimes, says CJ's getting pressured by a blitz and I only counted the four down linemen rushing him.

Maybe the Hawks and Mowins deserve each other. Not sure what we the fans did though.

If you have a Windows computer then download this:

http://www.fountainware.com/Products/AudioDelay/

If you run Linux or a Mac with the Python scripting language installed then look at the post from d53richar at:

https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1189559

I just run the code in the post from a terminal window something like this: radiodelay.py 15

(I modified the code to take seconds but IIRC it wanted 1/1000ths originally so that would look like: radiodelay.py 15000)

My stereo is connected to the line input on my computer so I set the delay to 1/2 second and start listening. I start a stopwatch right @ kick off. Dolph's play by play makes that pretty easy to determine then I stop the watch when I see the ball in the air on the TV and use that as the initial delay time. Usually somewhere between 13 and 17 seconds.

Absolutely the best way to watch if you can't go to the game.

There are also apps for Androids and iPhones too from what I hear but the above software is free and works with my living room entertainment setup so I use it.

Download TuneIn app on my phone, search Iowa football. I'm cursed with living in Florida, so I'm 1200 miles from an actual Iowa radio station.

I was thinking the same thing that I actually feel sorry for her getting the lousy boring games. It would be tough to call all these awful games.

When I listen to the radio stream it is ahead of the TV. SO I hear it and the pay ends, then on TV the teams are lining up for the snap. It certainly takes some getting used to.

I have to say...hearing her on Saturdays is starting to feel routine. Must be a Hawkeye game. Pavlov's dog kinda feel to it. I hear her voice and I instantly need a brat and a beer and I start yelling at the tv. I don't mind her actually lol

How'd she do last week? I had the radio on, streamed the game on the office PC and remodeled the bathroom in the hall. So I stepped in a few times to watch plays that sounded important.

I think I made great use of my time. Enjoyed the good stuff, missed the other stuff.

Since radio stream is in advance of video, I could hear it, walk in watch the play and enjoy it 2x.

I recommend doing something while listening/watching. This aint must see tv in 2016.

Put together a model airplane,
Paint a room.
Clean the house (wife will be pleased)
Use your laptop, get some work done
other suggestions?

We've been upgraded to ESPN2 with Anish Shroff, Tom Ramsey, and Kevin Weidl
