I hate it, because she destroyed me during that game, however after Iowa performance it somehow seems right to listen to her again. It's like self flagellation. Iowa needs to win to earn competent broadcasters. Iowa is a long ways from gus Johnson, Brad nessler, Chris fowler and joe Tess. We've earned Beth with that NDSU colonoscopy-like performance.

Chris Fowler is brutal on play-by-play.
Brad Nessler is with CBS now and will be working with Gary Danielson, again, next year.
Brad and Gary in that 11am ESPN slot was great in the last 1990s.
Joe Tess is very solid.
Gus Johnson is the best, and it's not even close.

I'm very disappointed in Chris fowler. Thought he was excellent on game day, his play by play is painful. I agree that besides the top network guys, Gus is the best and really Joe klatt isn't bad either as color guy, right there with Gary danielson who I really like.

I think she did fine actually. There's worse. It helped me when I envisioned what she looked like 20 yrs ago. Actually I think the 3 did a decent job.

I really like Nessler. There is another I really like that can't think of his name right now. Kind of has a nasally sound but not annoying. Bald guy. Gus is getting old to me as he try's more to do his catch phrase or yelling. When they start manufacturing those kinds of things it gets old.

I honestly don't remember anything about the broadcasting crew last week, which means they must have done a pretty good job.
I watched the Alabama game later and it's almost funny how blatantly Verne and Gary root for Alabama. Like I couldn't even be mad because it was just to the point of absurdity.
