Best vertical on the team?

Pretty sure I heard Bobby or Dolph, one of the two, say that Gessell has the best vertical leap on the team. Having seen him at the B&G Blowout I can believe it cause he can really elevate. But it does surprise me.

Did anyone else hear that or did I imagine it?

May would be my pick too, but Gesell was trying double clutch reverse dunks at the B&G and nearly got it down.

Wouldn't surprise me eventhough I would guess it to be may. I think quickness getting off the floor and timing are more important that flat out height. That is why white is so good. He leaves the ground quick and times it well.

Gesell had the best vertical according to their strength & conditioning coach during fall workouts which is what was also mentioned on the pre-game show yesterday. Of course minutes later they referred to May as the best "athlete" on the team and how Eric is hoping to stay healthy this season by actually reducing the amount of weight he is lifting as he may have become too bulked up last year and Bobby mentioned how BBall players need to have a certain degree of fluidity which I would agree with.

Does not surprise me although I do not think we will be seeing him dunk in a game anytime soon. He missed a break a way dunk in the B&G.

I can see this being true, but tell me: who can touch the highest on the backboard? I'll go with Gabe.

I think you might be thinking of Ingram. Gesell had a crazy reverse dunk on a break away.

During the scrimmage? I remember seeing him dunk during the warm ups.

You could be right, I might have them confused. After all they look so much a like. :D

Yea, he had a fast break and I was wondering if he was going to lay it in or dunk it. Next thing you know he pulls out a reverse dunk. Couldn't believe it.

If I remember correctly, Mike won the opening tip against Adam when they played each other last year.
