Best Major Conference RPI to Not Make Tournament

I thought I saw somewhere that had us at 48...regardless 45-50 is bubble territory is it not? But didn't the selection committee "de-emphasize" the RPI or some bull like that?

Not sure which one they actually use.... Espn has it at 39... I do see the one that has us at 51 but doesn't look all that "official"

ESPN & Realtime RPi had us with 10 losses (Illinois was our 11th). CBS has us with 11 after Illinois, that is where the 51 comes from.

Wouldn't it come down to how many Automatic bids are higher than 51 in rpi? Assuming that they would then fill the non-autobids invites with people who are lower than 51.

Let's hope for few upsets in conference tourneys. The more auto bids stolen by non-tourney teams, the worse for iowa.

i think we win 2 and get in easy though.

Baylor has 18 wins vs D1, Tennessee 18, Xavier has 19, Minnesota 17. The first 3 are "in" on most brackets.

Iowa is in.

I agree, I sure wouldn't mind a win on Thursday though, if nothing else just to get a little confidence(and maybe slow the deathmarch on here). A 8-10 seed makes the first tourney game much tougher.

They can lose Thursday, and they are in.

Enough with the bubble talk. Iowa is dancing this year.

You can be "In" and still be on the bubble. 7-10 at large seeds are the bubble... Iowa will be a 7-10 seed.
