I am learning some of the features of our new site right along with each of you. I was aware of our blogging portal, because I dropped a few hundy on it thinking it would come in real handy at some point...but I was not sure how I was going to use it...
I will share more of those thoughts next week, and show each of you that wants to how to create your own 'hawkeye blog' within this site, that you can link in your signature line, email to family and friends, etc.
But here is another thing I just found: I can blog certain posts that you make, and it will show up in my blog page...of course, I have the entire front page of the website to share my content, so I am not going to create my own blog within a blog.
What I will use this for will be a 'Best In the Nation' daily feature....where you can click on my blog icon or link, not sure how that works yet, and see the posts that I added as sort of a 'Best of' from what I read on the forums each day.
I think this could be a lot of fun, and a sort of 'Hawkeye Nation Digest' if you will.

These blogs can be decorated with personalized wallpaper, and there are a lot of things you can do to them...you can even subscribe to any blog you want...man, this software is even better than I first thought!
