In the mediocre show "LOST" one of the main charachter's name was Kate. She was from Iowa. Who cares, right??
She was back in Iowa to see an old boyfriend. He knew she was running from the law. If i recall he was a doctor of some kind. Anyhow she meets him out at his car so she wouldn't be seen. He pulls out a cooler full of cold beer pulls out one for each of them. Jokingly she asks why he has beer in the car and he responds with one of my all time favorite lines:
It's Iowa. We always have beer.

The opening scene to Crazies was filmed at Lenox - I remember playing left field and having several shots go over my head and hit those gain bins.
