I'm sure there are some real good ones. The statute of limitations has passed on mine.
Northwestern....about 1982. Flew to Chicago in a 4 seat Piper, got the rental car and headed to Evanston and checked in to the hotel. Started as a typical fall Saturday during football season....drinking by 9AM, I think there was some white powder at some point. 1 PM kickoff. Game went as most did in those days, Hayden Fry teams winning 52-7 or something like that. From there it was off to Rush Street for the evening. At some point late...about midnight, I got seperated from the others in our party. I had the keys to the rental car but could not for the life of me find the car. Walked around for about 2 hours checking every brown Mercury Zephyer I saw until I finally found ours. Lucky I didn't get rolled. Not sure how, but found the hotel. So happy to get to the room, didnt even turn the light on and got into bed. Next morning, the sheets and me were a mess...brown sticky substance everywhere. Thought I crapped myself. Then I found the little tin foil wrapper. The hotel was the type that opened the bed for you and put chocolates on the pillow.
Also had some exciting trips to Madison, Minneapolis, Champaign, Bloomington but now I always check the bed for chocolates.
