I agree, I was most impressed by the tenacious D tonite, and I cannot wait to see what comes in the next 3 years with White.

though the d picked up as the game went on i am not sure i would say it was all that good. neither team played good defense in the game. that said iowa play hard and was just dominant with their 4 & 5 spots.

They actually defended pretty well. They got hurt in the first half by the 3 and offensive rebounds, but by the end of the game I think Dayton's FG % was down below 40%.

While I don't think it was tenacious D tonight, we do need to realize that when you push the tempo as much as Iowa is going to, it will lead to more point for the other team as well. I will take that over Lick ball any day.
