Best "atmosphere" games at Kinnick

I remember that game but wasn't lucky enough to be there. Im sure it was incredible. And old timers have also told me that 81 MSU was truly unbelievable in every sense of the word.

Husker fans will not travel in their usual numbers with that 11 oclock kickoff the day after Thanksgiving. Might be the only benefit of the early start time. Tickets will probably be plentiful outside of Kinnick.

I was 13 and went to every home game in 81. HS senior 85-86 and used student tickets to the #1 vs #2 match up.

In the 81 game I remember a huge bottle of JD being passed around and everyone in my section was feeling no pain.

Night games suck. Atmosphere is not improved by large quantities of drunks.

Look at Ghost. Busting out some worthwhile insight. There's hope for you yet, my friend. He's right, by the way. The best atmosphere I've seen for a game was Michigan in '01. You could just feel the corner being turned, even though we lost.
