BigD, when do you sleep?
Lol,
My wife ask the same thing. Well as I age I find that I do t sleep as much as I used to. As you can probably tell I watch a lot of you tube videos to keep my mind busy.
I am full aware of the “click bait” phenomenon and try to avoid a lot of that propaganda. I multi source a lot of info.
Also the forum seems pretty dead right now so I try to keep info out there that others mind find interesting until we get closer to kick off and tip off time. Then I figure it will be my turn to just sit back and watch and read everyone else’s comments.
Yesterday I did take my family out for some fresh air to do some light hiking. We arrived at a popular site about the same time as emergency personnel. Someone had dislocated their angle and so we watched rescue personnel climb up this steep mountain terrain and use ropes to get this guy back down off of the mountain ridge. That was pretty awesome to watch them at work. It took along time to get the person back down to the canyon floor.
Yeah I have posted in the mid morning hours many times after 300 am Iowa time. My wife works graveyards at the Provo hospital which is the second largest in the State of Utah.Long answer to my question and that's ok. I've noticed our middle of the night posts before and have thought about commenting. As I age, I don't sleep all that well and that's probably why I noticed your post times.
Glad to hear you got back safely after your fall. Did your wife feel afterwards that hitting your head knocked sense into you or out of you? Lol, I kid, I kid.I fell hiking a pretty narly trail in Hawaii. Drilled my head on a rock and twisted my ankle pretty bad. We were two miles from the car. My wife asked if I could hoof it out and I was like, "what's our other option?" She found me a walking stick and I spent 2 hours hobbling through mud, rock, and a lot of elevation changes. It was brutal. We looked it up afterwards and there are rescue teams that can come get you via helicopter or on foot, but it takes them a while to get to you. Shit happens.
