He'd be getting Oglesby's minutes and then some.

I think you can argue Josh is having a better freshman campaign than Ben. I know Wisconsin was better last year so that limited his minutes. However, Josh moves really well without the ball. Josh is a very good shooter. He will have very good games for us in the future. I for one am not upset at all we do not have Ben. Ben is a good player this year. Josh will be a good player for us next year.

I'm glad we have Josh instead. He will be the best player over 4 years. We don't need Josh to play a lot of minutes while Gatens is still here.

i think it has worked out the best for both teams. ben doesn't have the skill set that we need, and he's in a system that highlights his strengths. still ironic that he was this super huge hawk fan wearing iowa gear all his senior year, and then bolts for wisky. very suspicious.

to me Brust is a loose cannon who shoots anything, he's the type that he hasn't found a shot he doesn't like. Oglesby is more selective in his attempts, no on Brust for me

I also agree that Josh is more athletic and is more the type of player that we want for our run and gun style. Brust is not as athletic and likes slow ball. He found a nice home for that.

what the difference does it make?who cares about toad licklighter`s recruits they all choose to play elsewhere. we should care about what we have on team.

Agreed. Isn't it also about time for another Cougill thread?

I really don't care about Brust at this point - I'm more interested in our guys.

Exactly, Josh is a good 4+ inches taller which makes a huge difference.

The last thing in the world Iowa needed was to go backwards and get another short, slow, unathletic lick type.
