Beau Corrales

No need to go crawling back to a 3-star recruit. Dumb kid. Got butt hurt and decommitted when his boy Eno had his offered pulled, and wanted to visit Utah. He's not talented enough to decommit and then still have his offer available when it was comfortable for him. That crap only works if you're a 4-5 star recruit and it still didn't work out for Eno (although in hindsight Kirk still did the right thing because Eno was whoring around with ASU before his offer was yanked). Good riddance to both.

My opinion it doesn't hurt to still communicate. Relationships are a huge part of sports and life whether it works or it doesn't there is no damage done in reaching out.

what about 3 stripe life with Eno and co-eds at ASU or bro-ing out at Utah?????
Also, I thought Iowa was tragic w passing the ball and no one would want to go there?

Once upon a time there was a Hawkeye with maturity issues who got in trouble twice as a college freshman. KF forgave him and he went on to bigger and better things, including a super-bowl ring.

For Gods sake this is a high school kid, and we can't forgive his immaturity?? For if we can't forgive a high schooler aren't we saying teachers aren't doing their jobs? And if we say that, aren't we blaming the entire K-12 system? And if we do that, aren't we indicting our educational institutions in general?!? I put it to you Blackngreg, isn't this an indictment of our entire American society?? Well, you can do what you want to Beau Corrales, but I'm not gonna sit here, and listen to you, bad-mouth, THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!

Gentlemen!

Looks like Eno talked him into leaving, then ditched him for Arizona State. It will be even funnier when Eno comes back to Iowa and we don't have room to take Beau back.

2018 and Micah Jones cannot get here soon enough. And yes, I do think BF can clean up the passing game just enough to sway his commitment in our favor.

I'm not against either. If the coaches have moved on and no longer want Beau, then so be it. If they open the door back up and want him back then so be it as well.

I don't think Iowa misses an Eno or Beau at all, losing Holmes is the one of the 3 if any that will really hurt.

I think that 'ship has sailed... Kirk is too prideful to go crawling back to a recruit.

Kirk shouldn't do anything. If he is still interested he is the one that should be contacting Kirk and crawling and apologizing. If he can't do that, screw him.

Nothing shocks me anymore, but I'd be really surprised if Corrales ends up here. The staff has moved on after Corrales moved on. It's up to him to contact the coaches now but I don't think that will happen, either. I don't think he wants to be here or fits. It's better they parted ways, IMO.

Yeah because this class is just full of 4 star RB commits and good WR....oh wait not it is NOT

Greene, Daniels, Wadley were all either 2* or 3* kids. It doesn't take a 4* RB to be a good RB, Iowa will be just fine at RB with or without Eno.

Beau was a 2* kid when we offered and most were like "he will be a TE at Iowa". He isn't a difference maker like Holmes would be.

I don't watch a lot of recruiting videos but Beau's was one that stood out to me and his best highlight is a block. Kendrick Green is the other recruit who's tape stood out to me so I was disappointed to see we didn't land either of these guys.
