Beathard = WARRIOR

Actually I will say more...He hangs in every play (our PASS protection has been less than average all year), and makes THE MOST out of every play, many times using legs to keep play alive and/or scramble. Has taken more hits in half a season than Rudock his entire career. Just wins. Not a 'stats' guy for sure. Can't measure his intangibles. To gut this most important game out, at about 40% health, was unreal. Leadership is amazing. He is the difference on BOTH sides of the ball, in my opinion. A leader-of-men that teammates are willing to go to war with, with him leading. Love this guy!

With 2 tackles going pro, and the next 2 injured, I can only imagine how bad our record would be with Rudock. He had GREAT protection last year (compared to this year), and couldn't do half the things Beathard has.

Get healed up CJ!

Hats off to CJ. Played tough for sure. Thought they should have pulled him earlier. But what a manly job! Well done CJ Beathard!

He's been a huge catalyst for almost all the positive changes to the offense and keeping defenses honest.

Rest, young man...rest.

Remember after 9/11 the sports community agreed to quit calling athletes heroic or warriors because it was disrespectful to soldiers and the first responders?

I liked that. CJ is tough but he played a football game, he isn't a warrior.

When we call athletes warriors, does anyone really think they are comparing them to actual soldiers in terms of bravery, etc.? I think not. I always find this argument a bit silly.

Regardless CJ is one tough hombre.

Say or don't say whatever you wish. He's a warrior in my book. Well done, CJ. Well done.
