Beat ****y Badger on Tuesday, PLEASE

I really am not expecting to win this one. Which would make it even sweeter if we pulled it off. I really feel we would need Uthoff to pour in 15 plus to win at the Kohl. And part of me is expecting him to struggle in this environment.

Hope he proves me wrong.

Given Jackson's injury, I think we may have a better chance at home. We are at WUs, then at Purdon't and then we have a full week off before we play WUs at home. It'll be a very tough game to win at WUs. We'll have to play at a level we haven't played at, yet. I am looking for Iowa to play well enough to win. Whether we do or not depends on the officials and how they call the game.

For those of us who live & work in the Dubuque area this is always a big game! We get to hear all the time how great Bo Cryin & his band of whiners are on a daily basis. Man I swear if you watch the reaction of the Badger players they never foul anyone. Would be a big win to get but it will be tough. Go Hawks get to 5-1 in the BIG!

I think we can split with them, but I don't expect to beat them at the Kohl Center. Then again this team has done some amazing things on the road. Can't wait for Tuesday!

That's where I'm at. I don't expect a win at the Kohl, but you never know, and Iowa will get another shot at them in Carver soon. I'd be thrilled even with a split. But let's go for the sweep. ;)

The Hawkeyes won at Madison, last year, right?? Or was it 2 years ago.
Not sure on that, however, the Hawkeyes have played the Cheezerheads pretty well,
of late. GO friggin HAWKEYES !!

Uthoff scorers 18+
White scores 12+
Woody stifles Kaminsky
Jok makes a solid offensive contribution
Oglesby hits at least two treys
Mikey runs the game impeccably with minimal (if any) TOs
Supporting cast plays respectably

Hawks win by 5

If we play the whole game at the same level we played at in the first half of the MSU game, we will win by 15 plus. Not likely to happen, but we have already played this year at the level needed to win.

The thing is though, I don't think Wisconsin is world beaters without Jackson anyway. I give us a 40% chance to win.

PC, we haven't played at that level for 40 minutes and nowhere close on the road. It will take that, at minimum. Let's all be honest, WUs is going to get the whistle's in their favor, so we'll need a perfect game from all. Can we do it on the road? That is the question.

We don't need to win by 15 either. :) I think we probably need to play like that for 20 minutes, then just play good the next 20 minutes and we have a really good shot. Hell, as long as Wisconsin doesn't light up the 3's (which they probably will) we can win with just a pretty good showing.

Yea, I really want this one. A couple over on the Badger board are just a bit too cocky & on the childish side with namecalling, etc.. Would luv for them to be able to eat their words. Hawks have beat them in Madison before, they can do it again. Hopefully, Uthoff can keep his head & stay productive.

Bo gets a "T" in this game, not Fran....close game, have to defend Gasser and Koenig, rebound the ball well, or it could be a long night.....Another good test for Iowa, if we don't get the "W" there, we will in IC....

I wonder who the ref's are going to be?

Guys, you're all ruling out one of the top 3 factors that will decide the game for Wisky ... the officiating.

I get the B14 is the worst but it's usually both ways. The glaring exceptions are Kohl Center and Breslin.

As physical and high effort Woody has been playing the last couple, gonna need him to be big and tough tomorrow. Also gonna need Gabe back on track offensively. Unfortunately, Woody and Gabe will both have 5 combined fouls by the 8 minute mark of the 1st.

That'll sting. Even more so because Jok, Uthoff, Mikey and Oglesclank aren't gonna suddenly torch it from outside at the Kohl Center.

Hawks best shot is to hi-lo Whitey, clear or give him a free-throw line (hopefully, non-moving) pick and let him drive every possession. Have Uthoff and whatever big man we can keep on the floor follow him for the put back or tip out. Gotta uglify this game and win it at the line.

Hoping Hawks 58 - Vadges 53. Expecting V's 60 - Hawks 51.
