Let's get things rocking in CHA tomorrow night. It will be a blackout and the first 1000 fans get a blackout t-shirt.

I expect that Iowa will come out and play hard the entire game as they did against UNI. That way night lowns can't make another flukey comeback. The freshman are getting better with every game that they play. Iowa has the potential to control this game from start to finish.

That game more than any looked bad on Iowa's tournament resume because of how bad the clowns are. If not for that Iowa would have been in. I want Iowa to exact every possible measure of revenge for that!

At first appearance based on record this might appear to be a tough matchup. However the clowns have played an extremely weak schedule (192th ranked to Iowa's 37th). The one common appointment is UNI. Iowa beat them by 49, the clowns beat them by 8. If Iowa comes out and plays well they can win this one big too.

The one common appointment is UNI. Iowa beat them by 49, the clowns beat them by 8. If Iowa comes out and plays well they can win this one big too.

If Iowa will work the ball inside they can take advantage of Iowa State being short handed inside. Continue the improved defense and shooting and limit turnovers (or at least the points off TO's) and they'll have an excellent chance.

I will definitely make it tomorrow. Not going to miss a chance of watching the clowns get smoked by the Lady Hawks! Don't know why anyone would make fun of the Lady Hawks. These ladies are working hard and turning out to be a very good basketball team.

That's good to know. Keep them from shooting threes because I do know they like to throw them up there. I did watch a little when the clowns played Cal the other night. Wasn't impressed but we need to bring our A game and totally destroy them clownettes!

I will say the ladies are playing good defense and are rebounding well. They hustle nonstop and usually 10-12 play in every game. They don't play that many because of blowouts they just have a lot of talented players. It's been fun watching progress this year and they are getting pretty good. Are they to Maryland and osu caliber yet? No but they are moving that way faster than any of us thought they would. They don't jump 3 feet off the floor so when they miss I don't get as upset as when the men miss easy buckets. Granted it's not for everyone I get that but you should be proud of what these ladies are accomplishing because after all they are Hawkeyes! I had a stepdaughter that played on back to back state championship teams so I kind of got used to seeing how the women play. Go Hawks!
