Two 3rd round picks for Brandon Marshall is good value for the #Bears. Cutler gets his No.1 WR in a move I didn't see going down

This is a great day to be a Bears fan.

Cutler is a straight up dbag, but he does have a lot of talent. He's going to get the ball to Marshall often. Marshall is a difference maker that the Bears didn't have. As long as they can shore up their offensive line, Bears could make some noise.

Are they going after that DE everyone is drooling over whose name escapes me?

Mario Williams. They probably were going to make a big splash with a receiver or a DE. Looks like they went receiver. Williams would of been nasty lined up next to Peppers. Maybe the Bears should of got Williams and went out and picked up Pierre Garcon? Either way, the Bears are better.

Mario Williams. They are said to be in on him, don't know if this Marshall trade affects that or not. I am kind of hoping they get Williams, it would be one heck of a dline. However, I am kinding of hoping they find a solid guard somewhere (FA or draft).

Edit: Also I really like the move for Marshall. Love seeing the new GM do some work that was not done previously.

Marshall's at the point in his career where production will decrease. O'Keefe pulled off a helluva move unloading him. I would expect them to sign DJK as a free agent and go after McNutt in the first round.

Now they can sign Williams since this trade was a much cheaper option than signing a FA receiver. I think Marshall makes ~5-6M this season.

that is a great pickup by the bears. a really good possession wr.

Marshall is a big play/all-around receiver/YAC reciever not a possession receiver. If he's interested he's unplayable at times. Cut-Marshall is a great combo.

On a side note, wtf is Miami going to do? Full rebuilding mode?

the bears suck
adding a prima donna WR won't change that fact

They gave up very little to get a guy that plays really well with Cutler, just 2 third round picks.

Also the Bears are rumored to be close to signing Jason Campbell to back up Cutler. Another good move as having no back up last year cost the Bears the playoffs.

I agree with Dexter...this paves the way for Manning to Miami as he did not want to play with Marshall. He wants to bring Reggie Wayne there ...just like the good ol' days.
