I think it will be easier for the crowd to be into this game early due to the fact that if Iowa wins this game, we will be 10-0. The difference between 9-0 and 10-0 is a huge one. Once you are in double digit wins and still undefeated, you know you are close to finishing a perfect year. At 8-0 going to 9-0, you still have that feeling that there are a lot of games left. At 10-0, you know you are down to 2 games.
Plus there is the revenge factor of last year's game the crowd can hang onto. And also we can remember when NW's fans were chanting "5 and 0" at their team last year. Lets get a big win and chant "10 and 0" so they can hear it this Saturday!!
