BCS Rankings and who they have left to play. How high will Iowa get if they win out?

BCS Rankings and who they have left to play. How high will Iowa get if they win out? My guess is around 10. I don’t see Wisconsin losing so I am holding out hope for a BSC game. What are your thoughts?

I can see Iowa getting to nine or ten if they win out.

It makes me sick to think we are only a few plays away from being undefeated and most likely ranked #3 right now.

I don't care where we finish as long as we get to a BCS game. If not, then I'll be officially disappointed. On the flip, I think that we might be the strongest two loss team and whoever plays might be overlooking who Iowa really is.

COMPLETELY AGREE! I think we could possibly ranked #2 in the BCS already if we were undefeated.

Yes, I think the BIG TEN has stepped up the game and making people remember who they are. I think in the future with nebraska it make our conference stronger and the "big ten" crap will end!

I agree, with everyones expectation as high as they were in the off season, anything but a bcs game will be a disappointment. On the other hand it is football and anything can happen. We just got to keep winning and getting stronger! I think we will win out and finish 9th or 10th and go to the Sugar bowl!

if we thump Indiana, we move up 3 spots this week, passing the Utah/TCU, Bama/LSU, and Stanford/Arizona losers ... that's 13th

if we beat OSU, we'll pass MSU at the same time ... that's 11th, before any upsets or the bowl games

... I see 7th again in the final rankings (post bowl, not BCS), just like the run of 8s

Most likely 8-9 if we win out, 7 tops

I think it depend on how all the top 3-4 teams in the big ten finish. There will be spots open as Boise, TCU or Utah will drop! You are right not counting a bowl win! An impressive BCS win could get us 6-7 which is were they like to put IOWA.

I agree that it would be a letdown to miss a BCS bowl. However, if we don't, being in the middle of SEC country I'm excited about the possibility of playing another SEC team. If we beat them it gives me bragging rights down here for another year and shuts them up just a little bit about how weak the Big10 is. I just wish Georgia was having a good enough year that we'd be able to play against them this year.

If Iowa can win out I see Hawks ranked 7 or 8 in final poll and will be headed to Rose Bowl with a UW stumble.

Oregon
Boise
TCU
Bama
OU
Wisky
Mizzu
Stanford
MSU

If we win out, the win vs. OSU could get us to 9 I think.

If we win out, my thoughts are as high as 7 but probably 9ish before a bowl game. The Big 12 teams all will lose at least one more game each. It depends on how far they would drop the loser of TCU/Utah, but we are not close enough to pass them this week, perhaps after OSU though. We could be ranked 11 or 12 going into that game and OSU around 9 or 10. A win there also vaults us over MSU if hadn't already, stretching us to 8 or 9. Then you've still got two weekends of big matchups and championship games left.

I say Alabama loses to Auburn and AZ stumbles as well to Oregon(I have them to beat Stanford this weekend). We end up just behind Wisky (unless they too lose a game in the ever strengthening and injury riddled Big Ten). The table would be set either way for a BCS invite and a win there would put us around 4-7 in final polls depending on who we beat in bowl game (and other serious upsets that could come about). Either way, I see us well into the Top Ten if we keep winning.
