Basically after the signing period, the athlete just needs to be enrolled in school and register for classes. It's not a guarantee, since other schools can still recruit guys.
still not commited anywhere. Van Coleman says people at Iowa are looking into whether or not everything is in line academically for him to go to Iowa and also he is pending an appeal to the NCAA for another year of elgibility. IMO he will be a hawk when it's all said and done.
I agree. Coco really only makes sense to Iowa as a safety measure but not as a two year commitment. If we can get the kid for one year and have a backup with some experience that is decent then I think we pull the trigger. If the kid gets two years then I don't think we tie up a scholarship for what would be considered a mediocre PG.
