The last 2 games were both lost on late homers. Tough to swallow, but its nice to see an Iowa team compete in the postseason for once this decade.

Never have been a huge baseball fan, but this squad was fun to watch. They have lot of heart and they have a lot of fun. Heller has done a phenomenal job.

If Adams comes back next year, then Iowa really only loses their shortstop (Mccoy) and a starting pitcher (Erickson). They had a lot of injuries to their pitching this year that hopefully bounce back next year.

The key will be Adams coming back. I have no idea where he's at on that. Some projections I've seen had him in the top 10 rounds back in early May. I'm sure that has only increased over the last few weeks.

@JonDMiller and @RobHowe , would it be a pain in the butt to create forums for the varsity sports? Not being a smart ass, just was wondering for the people like myself who like the lesser known sports like baseball. He’ll I’ll even agree to post Hawk baseball-related content twice a week minimum to keep it rolling.

I figured it’d be a 10 minute deal to add on to the site, maybe not.

I know there are WBB fans who’d love it.
