:) Go hawks!!

No doubt. I think we make it. The rest of our schedule is cake and we are playing really really well. Cartwright and Basabe got better at the end of last year. They do that again this year and watch out!

Yeah and Fran's teams always seem to make big improvements after in season breaks. I think Nebraska coming to town will be great fuel to start our run. Let's get to CHA and cheer the Hawks on to victory.

Ain't gonna happen. Basabe was a Sienna recruit, and will NEVER cut it at the B1G level, as we have seen.

The sooner we move on, the better.

another post presence will help basabe a lot. next year i see him being a all b1g player because they wont be able to double him.

Basabe doesn't have the skill-set to be an isolation player right now. He has poor post-footwork, his ballhandling is poor, and he is jump-shot isn't there yet.

Basabe needs to focus on playing with energy. Crashing the offensive boards, playing great help defense, and securing defensive rebounds. If he plays with energy and stays out of foul-trouble he'll score double figures through put-backs, garbage buckets, and the like and hopefully he will protect our defensive paint.

We do not need him isolating right now.

Spot on Drew.

Our schedule is cake the rest of the year? Let's see, Nebraska beat Indiana, NW beat MSU, PSU blew out Purdue, Wisconsin and MN are playing better. 5-6 or 6-5 would be a huge accomplishment for this team. Basabe, Cartwright and May are so inconsistent offensively it's a coin toss if they will have more fouls than points most games.

Agree with others that Basabe is not comfortable in the post and should focus on getting his garbage baskets, making FT's, blocking shots etc. Basabe will be a better player next season with Meyer and Woodbury on the team.

We ain't makin no run at no big dance. Thats just crazy talk.
Our OOC performance was dismal. Only a championship in the B1G tournament will overcome a loss to Campbell.
Now if you wanna talk NIT? Then I might be ready to hear it. Even that will take a tremendous finish.
