So Iowa is going to take 2 RBs in this class with torn ACLs?

Oh please, no. Too bad for these kids, but the coaches need to do what is best for the team, and not make gambles like that. I'm okay with honoring the offer to a guy that got hurt later on, but we don't need to add more.

talked with the head PT and Athletic Trainer at Cincinnati at a conference, and he said that if a kid tears their ACL in HS, they don't offer them. The likelihood of tearing their other ACL is considerably higher than the general population and a risk they aren't willing to take.

I understand honoring your commitment to the player, but just isn't generally good to go after folks with already damaged knees.
