People forget that Saban was quite pedestrian before he got to the SEC. Decent teams with Sparty but nothing like LSU and 'bama and the Dolphins thing was a complete mistake.

Well, not just that but it would take me several paragraphs to list all of my superlatives about Nick. The guy is just pure greatness.

Hey Chief, he took over an 0-11 team and did a pretty nice turnaround job. Good enough to get hired at LSU. And the Dolphins thing, whatever. Look at his rosters. Good luck beating Tom Brady and the Pats with those rosters. Nick was the one who signed Welker when he got cut by the Chargers, bud. The guy is in a three way tie for first as the greatest coach who ever lived along with Bear Bryant and Belichick.
