Ballard, Reisner and Olsen make final cut with Vikings!

Christian Ballard was expected to make the team, given his high draft status, but free agents Allen Reisner and Seth Olsen knocked off veteran players to make it onto the Vikings 53 man roster.

Congrats to all! Now there are four Hawks on my favorite NFL team! Purple Pride!

Also, former Cyclone Alexander Robinson was cut by the Vikings.

He's a very good blocker, which is always a plus. And I believe he impressed the coaches some with his pass-catching ability. Not a terrific athlete, but he IS a terrific technician.

That's just what I read around here (or maybe CF) a week or two ago, that the coaches were
pleased with his play in the passing game. Surprised me a little bit, as I just didn't expect him to have a lot of receiving success in the league.
