2 things jumped out at me immediately, and maybe it's because I haven't even looked at a 2 deep yet this season...

1) 3 headed monster at NT/DE with Ballard, Binns, and Daniels

2) Paki as the backup running back, despite getting his eggs scrambled on Sat night

I think the Bernstein being in the depth chart at Hyde's CB position standouts the most.....Makes me think after Hyde's bad game on saturday that the boys maybe reevaulating some things there.

HAHAHAHA! The heading starts will "ball" and ends with "deep" - you beat me to this one. Can you tell I'm bored at work?

Why is Paki our #2 RB still? He got his bell rung and more importantly we've got 2 freshman backs who will need to get game experience this week to get ready for Big Ten play. Why not run ARob for the first half and then let Coker and Johnson rotate to see who fills in at #2 until Hampton gets back? I know the concerns about burning redshirts but next year we'll have 2 juniors in Hampton and Robinson, 2 sophomores in Coker and Johnson, and HOPEFULLY 2 incoming freshmen in Gordon and Darrian Miller. That's 6 backs. One of the freshmen (preferrably both) should play Saturday.

In regards to this the 2 deeps dont really matter

If one of the other RB's are ready they will get the reps

Burning redshirts depends on Hampton's actual injury status. I would guess Johnson may play but not sure if Coker is ready after just returning to practice.
Another possibility would be moving Rogers back to RB or playing both FB and RB.

I highly doubt we burn a redshirt to beat Ball state. We have a bye week after Penn state. My guess is Hampton is out next 2 games and then he has till Oct. 16th @ Michigan to get healthy. If they think he can go by Oct 16th, I don't see a redshirt being pulled for basically one game(PSU). Even if KF was going to burn one of their redshirts Paki would be listed above them for awhile, just kind of how Kirk rolls.
