Uthoff could easily play minutes at the 5 against most teams.

He probably will on defense. But he will be using his all around game on offense. We may also be playing more zone next year.

I have no doubt Fran has a plan. For some reason he hasn't felt compelled to share it with me...probably thought I would tell all of you guys. And he's right.

I have to think we're signing someone that can play inside this spring. And I have a hunch it will be a 5th year senior. Iowa will look much more appealing for a 5th year big with White and Olaseni gone...guaranteed minutes. Also, we're on national television a lot; play in the Big 10; and will be fighting for an NCAA bid.

Wrong. If we get a decent 5th year senior post player, we won't be fighting for an NCAA bid, we will be fighting for a decent seed.

I think Fran's vision is a team with nothing but 6'7 players.

That's exactly what I've thought. It doesn't look to me that he recruits for a need position.
