Bad-gers got away hands to the face

At a most critical juncture of the game the refs handed the game to the bad-gers. The hands to the face was blatant. Iowa would have been in prime position to convert on the second attempt win the game in overtime had the refs not had a hometown bias. Iowa's receivers were dominating the bad-ger secondary, they had no chance but for the horrible officiating.

That's just 1 play.

Iowa had plenty of chances to win the game before that and still had a chance after that. Maybe if the Iowa offense earlier in the game had scored TD's instead of FG's after Wisconsin turnovers, they don't even need a 2-pt conversion at the end.

Also if they call the penalty, all that does is give Iowa another chance half the distance to the goal. Does not mean Iowa converts after the penalty and even if Iowa gets the 2-pt conversion, all that does is tie the game. Does not mean Iowa ends up winning the game.

In summary it's not the reason Iowa lost the game.

Yep, everything boiled down to ONE missed call by the officials. Iowa would have won had the officials been perfect! THOSE IDIOTS!!!!

Wisconsin was flat to start and Iowa should have been up 10-14 points at the end of that that 1st quarter. Iowa needs to be far more aggressive offensively and once again the fact that we aren’t leaves us losing by 2 points. Flat out unacceptable!!!!

The game would have been tied if we score. But on Wiscy's next last pocession,they drove the ball easily down the field and would have won with a chip shot FG or scored a TD. Either way death by a thousand papercuts and this is Iowa fb. We will always be 2nd or third in this division. Now we have to contend with a resurrected Goofer team. Ugh. Ferentz football on full display.
