I was talking Weisman's fumble. I can't be expected to read all of these posts to know what the heck I am talking about. :)
 
I'm sure the Weisman play was executed as designed. The theory being Weisman should be able to handle two unblocked lineman. He's a beast! That way we can save our linemen for the more important down field blocks and bust open a big run.
 
The secondary problems are fixable. Fact.
They had some good blitz packages that worked. Fact.
The offense looked better than last year. Fact.
If they can stay relatively healthy this team will be a lot better as the season goes on. Fact.
The D was really good against the run. Fact.
Losing that game sucked. Fact.
We will win the rest of the non con games. Fact.
NIU will again reach a good bowl game because they will be undefeated but will lose their bowl game again. Fact
 
We're crappy as ever on defense, but the offense has shown improvement. And I disagree with a few 'facts' related, here. For example, Iowa's secondary is not fixable as was posted. Like I said, Iowa's secondary cover skills leave everything to be desired, and Iowa's secondary can only show improvement if Iowa's front 4 puts some sacks and hurries on the QB, which ain't happenin' this year..

Nah....the defense made the same mistakes they do every year in the first couple of games. They usually dont play a Qb that makes them pay though. Defense will be fine.

I remember Greenwood and Sash blowing some coverages early in a couple of years. Take into account that Iowa is playing a lot of different secondary players and thats what happens.

The d line and secondary will improve as the year goes on. Fact.

The d line is extremely young. Fact.

The d line improving will be a benefit for the secondary. Fact.

Nope, Lithium. Not the prescription drug. Lithium is actually a mineral that your body needs, just like other minerals. Lithium Orotate might be something that all hawk fans should look into, for this season.:)

Both offense and defense stinks, but at least the offense is trying to improve...SIAP.
