Back of the envelope analysis of the 10-teams with the worst QB-ratings

Its a fact that those guys were 4 star athletes that could have gone anywhere they wanted. Whether they are good recievers is debateable. Jake C played on a poor team also in 2007. I would take him back any day over JVB.

It is absolutely not debatable to anyone with half a brain that has seen even a handful of football games in their lifetime. JC could have gone anywhere he wanted too. He was an Elite 11 QB, as was our backup punter this year.Vandenberg had an offer from Nebraska. That automatically makes him good, right?JFC, grow up and learn something about football.

Na, Id rather see Ruddock.

Jake's EIU stats.

PASSING GP Effic Cmp-Att-Int Pct Yds TD Lng Avg/G--------------------------------------------------------------------
CHRISTENSEN, Jake 12 133.61 175-300-11 58.3 2204 19 52 183.7

REEDER, Bodie Reeder his back up originally went to Wyoming and then came to play more close to home. Reeder was a 2 year starter and led EIU to an 8 win season. Jake came in and got the job. One of the receivers who played with Reeder in high school said of Christiansen...."Boy does he have an arm". Granted 1AA, but that is where Romo went to school and played.

Jake played against 1 B1G team in Penn State that was 5-1. EIU finished 8-4 that year. They trailed 38-0 at the half. He didn't play the whole game:

CHRISTENSEN, Jake 13-25-1 137yds and 1 interception.

Didnt get to see him play at EIU but did at Iowa and it wasnt pretty. Ruddock could be the future but we wont know that until next year.

OK,got ya..everyone on the offensive side of the ball sucks..not just JVB..Although he sucks the most and thats not debateable.

We have been completely shredded on defense for 3 weeks in a row, and 4 games overrall counting CMU. He was able to shut down ISU (one of the worst offenses in the nation), the worst UNI team in a generation, Minnesota playing with their 3rd best QB, the worst offense in the B1G in MSU, and a good N Ill team. The jury is still out on Phil P, and the early results have really not looked very good when taken on the whole.

The D held Indy to a season low for points scored, hardly what I would call 'shredded'. And the defense obviously has talent and experience issues, so anyone expecting a great D this year was kidding themselves.
