We will see......A guy that can use his legs and spin it when he has to...... seems like every other Northwestern quarterback we have seen the last 13 years.
He might not be that good, but it isn’t like northwestern is winning the west with all America QBs. They just need someone average to beat Iowa. A thorson type is usually enough.
Until the Iowa offense can play lights-out game after game this looks good to me.1. NW

Thorson was a 5th round pick of the Eagles. Of course, when this article compares him to Jay Cutler (minus the cannon arm), I am not sure how the future looks.

Being a fifth-round rookie quarterback, I tried to comp him to a career backup, but I really couldn't come up with anyone that fit. The guy he sort of reminds me of that you've all heard of? Jay Cutler, minus the cannon arm.
Jay cutler without an arm spells being cut during training camp. If thorson ever starts an NFL game I’ll be shocked.
OK, so I got Purdue, Nebraska and Wisconsin terribly wrong. But who's making fun of my Minnesota prediction now? I know, they could easily lose out from here on in. But I saw the weak schedule from the beginning. With them having to play Penn State before they play us and us having to play at Wisconsin, and the Badgers now having to play in Columbus next week, it will be interesting to see where the three teams are going into the Goofer game on November 16th. But this Florida resident targeted this game early on and will be flying up to see it in four weeks. You can pick on my picks in person then.
