Saturday is not here yet but Indiana notches a win. MSU wins in tepid style. Minnesota beats a P5 school. Every year we fret over the respect factor. Well as long as the B1G keeps winning it will help the perception. But more important we want the guys on our schedule to show themselves well.

Can't wait to see how the dust settles tomorrow for the B1G.
 
Tracy Claeys decision to go for 2 was interesting. Minnesota was up by 7 with 87 seconds left. They had just scored a TD, and an extra point would have point Minny up by 8. Instead Minny went for 2 to try to go up by 9.

I heard that Claeys has a degree in mathemails, but I am pretty good in math too, and I just do not get it.

The Goophs were less than impressive, very undisciplined. Claeys isn't D1 HC material
 
That was pretty stupid...and reflects poorly on your defense. You go up 8 and force the team to get a touchdown and 2pt conversion to tie you. His logic of " even with a 7 point lead, I'm still going to overtime if they score, is flawed." You want to make the team have to convert the two pointer to tie you. you moron...not just score once. It does show his team that he's an aggressive moron though if that was what he was going for.

Agree.

Beating a P5 team matters. First, it makes the B1G look better than the Pac12. Second, they didn't lose to a 1AA team.:oops:

Not enuff use of the word moron. Otherwise a post more impressive than B1G wins.
 
Now it's time for me to do a roundup.

Rutgers looks bad against a P12 team. (Kinda why I'm glad Minny didn't make the conf. look bad.)
 
Illinois destroys Murray State . . . one of you guys can give me your take on what that means???

Are they that good ... or was LSU that overrated? Nothing against Wiscy (that was a great win) but with their schedule they are still going to have a tough time winning the B1G West ...

That's a brutal schedule.

They do have a brutal schedule. By the time they meet us they may be banged up. ADVANTAGE IOWA
