NCAAF B1G postseason position rankings: QBs - ESPN

A look back at preseason picks to postseason ranking. From article:

11. Iowa (Preseason: 4): Nobody took a bigger tumble than the Hawkeyes, as James Vandenberg went from a 3,000-yard passer as a junior to often looking lost as a senior. He completed only 57.3 percent of his passes and tossed only seven touchdowns, with eight interceptions, and Iowa showed almost no ability to go vertical. And no other Hawkeye attempted a pass all season.

Espn is worthless and has been for a long time. He ranks 7th in team history and was one of the better QBs in the big 10. This comes from the same liberal hacks that push their anti gun agenda. They make me sick.

ESPN is worthless until they say something positive about Iowa, then they're the worldwide leader. Vandy sucked. I would've like to see *gasp* JC6 out there over the crap we saw.

His season was so bad I fully expect are qb play to be better this year even though I think jvb is actually a better qb than whoever we put on the field next year. Book it danno

Without reading the attached article, I was extremely hard pressed to come up with the team they would deem to place 12th. Turns out to be Illinois. Who knew.

ha! that's a terrible troll attempt.

The most mind-boggling thing in that write-up is that there were actually TWO Big Ten teams that threw for fewer yards last year than Iowa's 2,249.

One finished worse than Iowa (Illinois) and the other played in the Rose Bowl (Wisconsin). That borders on the unbelievable.

Someone needs to stop those gun-hating liberals at ESPN from ruining Vandy's legacy. You know they are after him because he's a hunter.

Did you watch Vandy play football last season?

The second amendment is not about hunting it is about protecting us from the government. I do not trust any organization such as ESPN that does not recognize our unalienable rights.

What is the timeline on JVDB killing the bear and having all of his quarterbacking skills disappear as if he was afflicted with some kind of Gypsy curse?

So we are all supposed to think its some kind of a coincidence that VDB has a great spring game and is learning the offense while feeling confident. Then he has his picture taken with a dead bear, and the following fall he doesn't exactly light up the scoreboard.
