Watching the Wisconsin breakdown, they don't scare me much from what I've seen. New coach, lots of 3* (looking) players, and at Kinnick... 92.25% chance of victory IMHO. Betting all my Millerbucks in favor of the Hawks on that game!!

I agree I like our chances but don't be making bets yet. We have not seen the team play in a competitive game At this point many hawk fans would not be shocked if we went 4-8 again and many would not be shocked if we went 8-4 either.

Wisconsin wasn't very good last year, and I doubt they'll be much better this year, unless Alvarez is running the show completely behind the curtain.

You know...I actually like to see a team play before saying a team isn't any good. Hell, I thought our offense, before last season, was going to be better under Greg Davis...yes...I'll admit it. I like our team this year as they have matured and people got their feet wet last year, but I still need to see our OL beat the living crap out of them on the ground. If that happens...I think we will be fine and could win 9. If our running game struggles against NIU...oh boy, it's going to be a long year, and I wouldn't put Wisky in the win column.

To me, our OL's ability to dominate the line of scrimmage against a team that they should is huge. It has to start there, and that ability helps our defense tremendously. This is most important factor heading into 2013.

The legend of the world-eater Carl Davis, predicted by the Mayans to level mountains in a single blow will need to come to fruition.

Wisky will have a huge OL as usual, if our DLine is not MUCH better than last year then every game will be an adventure.

Based on what I have read on Wisky...they will start either Phillips or Stave at QB. Now, they are both decent, but not very mobile. Their o-line is not up to Wisky standards, according to Dinardo. They only have one WR who is a playmaker right now, but they do have good TEs. RBs are solid. Defense is good in the front seven, but are thin in the back 4. I think Iowa can beat them in Kinnick but not easy. Andersen comes with very glowing reports...so not sure he will be easy to beat. They are transitioning from a 4-3 defense to 3-4, and their personnel needs to be transformed or recruited to fit the new system.

Thoughts on Minnesota? I think they might get Floyd back. Although it is sad when the game against Purdue was on there were not enough fans at the game to fill CHA.

They were promoting Minny as improved, and they probably will be, but....that schedule..ouch. Honestly, in the league, they have to pointing to the Iowa game as a must win game, because after that, the next seven games look very ,very tough for the Gophers. I think at best they might go 2-6, but more likely 1-7 or most likely 0-8.

Anyone else find it weird that the Big Ten Greatest Games going on right now is Nebraska vs Missouri from 2010?

Dumb considering neither were in the B1G, I understand playing Nebraska games, but to include Nebraska in the Greatest games and greatest players is just wrong. They can still show Nebraska related items without including them in B1G's Greatest.

BTN loves to show that one. Do. Not. Understand. Neither was part of the conference then. BTN is forcing it here. What's next week? Maryland vs Virginia? Pfft!

The mere fact that Wisconsin no longer has a former Hawk coaching them dulls the edge of their blade a bit in this game, if you ask me.

You know watching the MSU game while waiting for Hawk preview to begin... Weisman on 3&6 broke that run that led to score that made it 13-13. Makes me pumped about oline and running game possibilities with healthy stable full of backs. Also late in game dline was getting ok pressure so if they are improved as well kinda getting more optimistic with little less than a week til game day. Go Hawks!

Seriously... It never ******* rains here but its raining so hard right when Iowas preview started I lost signal! Code 771 if you don't believe me... Wtf.
