BIG TEN ANNOUNCES COVERAGE FOR BASKETBALL MEDIA DAY
Opening press conferences to air live on BTN and BTN.com
Rosemont, Ill. – Big Ten basketball fans will have several ways to follow their favorite teams, players and coaches as they participate in the annual Big Ten Basketball Media Day on Thursday, Oct. 31.
For the first time, BTN and BTN2Go will provide live coverage of the men’s coaches’ press conferences, while both the men’s and women’s coaches’ press conferences will be streamed live, free of charge, on BTN.com via the Big Ten Digital Network (BTDN). Live coverage and streaming begins at 8 a.m. CT/9 a.m. ET.
Fans can also follow @B1GMBBall and @B1GWBBall on Twitter throughout the day for highlights of the event and are encouraged to use the hash tag #B1GMediaDay to join the conversation. Real-time updates will also be made on Facebook (Facebook.com/BigTenConference) and through Instagram (Instagram.com/bigtenconf).
Transcripts of each coach’s press conference will be posted on www.bigten.org later that day.
