We all knew we were rebuilding this year, and I doubt anyone would have expected us to win atleast the road game against Wisconsin. Take a deep breath and rethink what your expectations were prior to our last two road wins. Enjoy the conference wins we get this year, we will compete with a majority of our conference this year as they have already proven.

Atleast we only see O$U once this year, Fran still needs more time we have come leaps and bounds since last year. We will only get better after Fran continues to get his players into his system. Go Hawks!

We only beat wisky and minny bc they shot too many threes....even matta said that, and thad matta knows his stuff

OSU definitely brought the hawks back to Earth, but this is to be expected. We all knew that this year's team and next year's team will have some inconsistency and growing pains, which is to be expected from such a young team.
Winning in Madison proves you can win anywhere, this year's team will still have some more upsets and crazy highs yet, but a few dizzying lows too.

I think todays game disqualifies the wins in madison and minnesota, thoughts?

We're a plus 2 is most people's eyes. Looking at the schedule when it was released, any rational fan knew that this opening stretch was going to be brutal. It's not getting any easier for awhile so we should probably save the "sky is falling" posts. It's year two in this process and we are seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. Not as much as we would like, but most reasonable fans knew it was going to take some time.

OSU may well be the best teams in the country this year. I will be very surprised if they are not in the final four. That is an astonishingly deep and athletic team on top of having a top 5 draft pick in Sullinger. I saw no real weakness in that team, they are better than last year.

Iowa played them tough for one half but the hawks shots wouldn't go down. Thought Iowa settled for to many jumpers during the stretch when OSU pulled away but OSUs defense was very good.

I feel confident in saying the Hawks will not face anywhere near that caliber of an opponent the rest of the season. They would probably be the best team in the league even without Sullinger.
