Tickets for the 2016 Big Ten Football Championship Game will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 30 at Noon ET. The sixth annual Big Ten Football Championship Game will be played on Saturday, December 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The contest will be broadcast nationally on FOX with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET. from http://www.bigten.org/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/072116aab.html

I purchased through Team TIx last year. This year it looks like it's through this website: shoowin.com, if you want to reserve for an individual team.

Bought 4, disappointed all tickets are in upper level. I'm a bronze hawk this year. Wonder if I would be able to get tickets through the university that are better if they make it.

How did the TeamTix work out for you? You put a deposit down at first and then weather or not your team makes it you pay the rest or get your money back?

Iowa was sold out so I had to buy through the MSU side last year. But we where still in an all Iowa section. Regardless, I paid $10 a ticket, if MSU wouldn't have made it, I would have been out the $40 some dollars that it cost to reserve. Since they did make it I was then charged face value for the $50 seats. So essentially paid just over $60 for $50 tickets.

So your paying a fee for the right to reserve face value tickets. If your team makes it then you pay the face value. If your team doesn't make it you do not get a refund for the reservation fee. The reservation fee is based on the ticket face value.

Was on there right when it opened and all crap seats left. Stubhub already has most of them. What a joke.

Interesting experiences I'm reading here. I bought two tix last year immediately after the Wisconsin game. Went through Stub Hub. Lower Level.

Used ParkWhiz for parking...excellent.

Stayed about 40 minutes out of Indy at a Super 8 for about $60 night/2 nights (Crawfordsville).

Partied most of the day before the game at Basey's. Got fun when the MSU crowd strolled in.

I mistakenly thought we could get good tickets day of game a year ago. I was so wrong. Ended up paying $165 for tickets at midfield but top section an hour before the game. So many iowa fans there. Lesson learned.

Pre-Sale started 2 days prior to this opening to the public, I was surprised at the amount of seats sold already.

Do u get to pick seat location on that?

No, I only got to pick from different sections spread out over 5 of the 6 seating zones.

I used ParkWhiz as well. It was excellent. We ended up staying in Danville, and paid much more then you, for a lesser hotel. This year I've already booked rooms with free cancelation (up till the Thursday prior) 10 minutes from the stadium for less then the Danville rooms.

Hoping to be much more prepared this year with tickets and rooms already reserved.

I looked at my actual receipts from the Indy game

ParkWhiz was $25. Two block walk to Lucas.
Super-8 in C'ville was $60/night (x2 nights)
Two tix in section 148, row 20 $125 each

I've used ParkWhiz a handful of times and usually it goes great, however once I was running late and got to the lot only 20 minutes or so before the game and was told all spots in the lot were taken. After a few minutes of arguing they basically created a spot for me and let me park there. So just a heads up, when using them, to be safe you will probably want to arrive early before the people operating the lot have a chance to fill it up via normal means.
