Kansas and Kansas State are in play. Sadly, I think Iowa State is also in play. Out East you're left with Pittsburgh, Connecticut, Syracuse, Rutgers, maybe West Virginia or Louisville.

Absolutely no way. That's crazy talk. Those schools add nothing, and would be a drain on the rest of the current members.

What in the world are you talking about?

Realignment is done for a good long while now.

Kansas will be in the B1G for sure. Kansas is pretty much already in the B1G. They're just waiting for the next round of expansion. Here's your link: NCAA college athletics department finances database

Kansas, for what it's worth, brings in more money than Missouri, a school that the SEC just accepted...

Kansas, for what it's worth, brings in more money than Indiana, Purdue, UCLA, Virginia Tech, Washington, Colorado, West Virginia

Kansas, for what it's worth, is also nipping at the heels of schools like North Carolina, Illinois, and Virginia.

Come on man. You must be trolling. This is the deep end of the pool and you're drowning.

There are no teams out there with the FB prestige that Nebraska had...since it looks like ND is tying in with the ACC anyways.

I would guess expansion would have to look at the academic standing, market and what they bring to the table other than football.

US NEWS may not be the best way to evaluate academics, but it was easy. Iowa ranks #72

#58 Pittsburg - Good school...decent market...good hoops.
#58 Syracuse - Good school...great market...good hoops.
#63 UConn - Good school...small market (no big name teams around though)...good hoops.
#68 Rutgers - Good school...great market...athletics are iffy.

If there is to be expansion, I think these 4 would make sense...once you consider there are no historically important FB schools to be had. They get us into the NY market and maintain the academic integrity that most Big Ten schools possess. The football may not get better, but the hoops does. If not them then you are down to:

#101 - ISU
#106 - KU
#139 - KSU
#160 - Louisville
#165 - WVU

The B10 is done for the forseeable future for one simply reason: There is not one school let alone 2 worth adding.

KU, KSU, ISU? You must be on a meth binge or a fan of one of these schools. All are fine schools, but none of them bring anything of serious value to the table that would benefit the B10.
