I fail to grasp the Camp Randall argument. I have been there 3 times (all Iowa wins) and in 2009 even got to be on the sideline till the game started and so I have seen what that place is like full from a player point of view. Its a decent size stadium and the fans are loud, but it did not seem overly intimidating. Having gone to the OSU debacle several years back when Tate slammed the ball into the turf, I can honestly say that The Horseshoe is a real SOB to win at. Would say the same for Kinnick, but those extra 30K people in C-bus make a lot of noise.

Wisky is 50-4 or something, so current players have rarely won there. They've also rarely won at OSU, so maybe I'm wrong.

I've been to all of them. Ohio State is BY FAR the toughest place to play, and it is not even close.

I would rank Kinnick a clear #2.

depends on time of day of KO too. Seems like Wisky is on at night all the time.

Kinnick 7:00 KO > Kinnick 2:30 KO > Kinnick 11 am KO.

Time of day is probably a big factor. Wisky plays at night an awful lot, it seems. Iowa played at Wisky in 2009 in the afternoon. I've not been to Wisky before, but LSU is also a good example for this. I'm sure their crowd is intimidating at all times, but VERY few places in the country are as intimidating as Death Valley at night.

Been to Ohio Stadium multiple times and it is the most intimidating. Then Kinnick is next mostly because of the high bleacher angles and close proximity of the fans to the field. Beaver Stadium ranked #2 is crazy talk. I was there at the white out in 09' and it mostly ho hum even then. The music was much louder than the fans ever got.

That was also a largely boring game. PSU jumped out to the early lead, and the place certainly seemed to be rocking at that point. But then basically nothing happened until AC blocked the punt, and it was all downhill from there for PSU fans.
