According to this article BIG goes to 9 nine games in 2017.

This sucks, I was looking forward to these games.

But yeah, since this fell through they need to go to 9 conference games. I would rather get Wisconsin back on the schedule than another directional MAC school.

I agree. I would have loved some road trips out to Boulder, Utah, or Oregon. Oh well. As long as we can schedule other BCS teams outside of ISU most years I will be content.

Its more likely that the writer forgot that the 9 game B10 slate was cancelled than he actually has the scoop that the B10 suddenly approved it again.

I am with Hlas of the Gazette...play 11 conference games and Iowa State.

This is extremely dissapointing. I was really looking forward to this collaboration. I pray we do not go to 9 conference games, that would be among the dumbest things a conference could do. I know KF is not in favor of it, so hopefully the coaches are consulted a little on this.

Perhaps it is because the B1G doesn't know if it will have 12 members still in the 2017 season. Lol
