B10 is the best damn conference in America Pt 2

For several years now, even ESPN has recognized that the ACC was UNC and Duke,and not much else.

The Big East has gotten a lot of love,but with Cuse and Pitt going to the ACC and West Va. going to the Big 12, and some weaker programs coming to the Big East,the door is open for the Big Ten to become THE bb conference. The BTN is having a positive effect also. Recruits know when conferences are on the rise,and so do their high school and AAU coaches.
Minnesota went down to Miami,a team that beat Florida St and Duke,and kicked the hell outta them on their own court...and Minny was 9th in the Big Ten.
Minny is making their NIT run without their only senior,Sampson....look out for Minny next year...their young guys are playing very well.

True statement. I highly doubt Mbakwe gets an extra year, but who really knows with the NCAA's track record.

But I have been very impressed the Gophers young talent, especially the younger Hollins.

What's it matter who the best conference is? There will never be a clear cut answer, and there is no award for the winner. All you get is some hack like Seth Davis talking up your conference. No thanks.

This is easy. It matters if your conference is at the top. It doesn't matter at all if your conference is at the bottom.

The Big Ten is going be brutal next year. Probably even better than this year. It is conceivable that the conference could have five teams in the preseason top twelve.

ESPN considers Iowa to have the 21st best recruiting class in the country. Yet, Iowa only ranks fifth in the Big Ten. It is scary how good the Big Ten will be next year. It's a nuclear arms race. The Hawks could be significantly better next year & still finish in seventh place.
