Awesome Pictures of Micah Hyde's Return

If you haven't clicked the link in the OP, you should. Great images from field level of a marvelous return.

I think an interesting question next year is where Hyde lines up. He has shown he has some nifty moves carrying the ball with at least two big INT returns (one set up by Sash) and KF basically said they may have to revisit his use in returns. Will they go one step further and use him as a WR? Can Iowa afford to lose him on defense?

They can't afford to lose him on defense by playing him at WR. But he needs to be returning punts for sure.

Thanks for the link, awesome pics! He will definitely be in the mix for some type of returner next year

That was really cool. Also shows the tremendous chasing effort that #82 puts forth for Mizzou. He played a heck of a game for them.

If we were to move Hyde to KO/punt returns he would have to play that right side so he can reverse field the same way every time. It seems to workout for us a lot! ;)

If he handles KO and punt returns next year, expect the book from opposing coaches to read: "Starts far right, crosses over to center of field, retreats and wiggles hips to avoid oncoming defenders, breaks left and sprints to end zone."
