Attention wrestling fans: vote for the Dan Hodge Trophy winner



Dake got my vote! I believe that Taylor is the second best wrestler in the country and Dake not only beat him three times this season, he moved up a weight class to do it. He chose the toughest path possible for his historic 4th championship. Awesome and I bet we never see anything like it again.
 




my wife thinks Dake is to full of himself after he said the difference in the ncaa finals match was that he rode taylor like a dog. but my vote went to dake

and pinned him in the Oly trials. when i watch taylor wrestle i can't imagine anyone ever beating him. for Dake to have done it 4 times in a row in a calendar year alone is unfathomable.

over dake?? really? i think you could make a strong argument to put even stieber in front of ruth. he only had 5 matches that didn't end in a pin or tech. that's pretty crazy, even with missing those few weeks.
 


Yeah, I like the Steiber reference. Dake wasn't as dominate as Steiber but beating Taylor 3 times makes it over the top. Though Steiber did beat Ramos twice, who isn't that far from Taylor in regards to domination. Taylor appears more effortless than Ramos, but Ramos is that far behind if you ask me.

Take it with a grain of salt though, as I am president of the Ramos Fan Club.

oh yeah, Dake has to get it for sure. no doubt. but i just think that some times how good steiber is gets lost in the shuffle of dake/taylor/ruth/etc. Steiber is going to end w/ one helll of a career. top 5 all time probably.

How good is LS? Yeah, this dude was runner up at trials to the bronze medal winner as a RSFR. Can't wait til he's representing the U.S.A
 


so .... this was a fan vote? if so - this is a bad idea. btw - i say dake and good riddance
