From article:

“I know what kind of work I need to put in to feel confident,†said Frayer, who opens his Olympics on Sunday at the ExCel Center. “Now, I almost have to force myself to relax.â€

Jones, an Olympic silver medalist who has seen scores of world-level workouts in his career, said Frayer found his limit — then drove through the stop sign.

Frayer estimated he lost seven to eight pounds during each workout.

“He went past the limit,†Jones said. “He’ll taper (slow down training, relax) more than anyone else on this team in the days leading up, but he also did more minutes last week than anyone on the team.â€

Frayer, who left Iowa to become an assistant coach at Wisconsin before returning to his alma mater, the University of Oklahoma, came out of retirement to make a run at the 2012 Games.

In his Olympic press conference, he noted how being in the Iowa room showed him how much he needed to work on his conditioning. Good luck Frayer, do America proud.
