At halftime Tebow is 0-4 with ZERO yards passing

Just so I get this straight, we're now crowning Tebow's *** after beating the Chiefs while completing two passes? You understand that the pathetic Dolphins destroyed KC right?

And some people wonder why there's a Tebow backlash. Every time his team wins, whether he played well or not, his fans spout off about how much of a winner he is. Really? Because he beat the Chiefs? Does that mean Matt Moore is a winner as well?

BOOM.

great post, Clark

Also, all 3 wins were on the road. Not many NFL quarterbacks have 3 road victories at this point in the season.

Eli Manning, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Alex Smith, Andy Dalton, Matt Schaub, Tim Tebow. Tom Brady will be there is the Pats win tonight in New Jersey.

I agree. And it is largely the guys that are considered to be the top tier QBs in the league. That stat makes Tebow look pretty good.

Yep, especially since he only has 4 starts this season, and the others have been starting all season long.

He's 3-0 as a starter on the road, and 3-1 overall as a starter, which apparently angers some people who want him to fail.

I wonder how timmy rah-rah would do against a real NFL defense, like San Fran or the Jets or Green Bay?
Remember what Detroit did to him??
Yeah, thought so.

He's 3-1 as a starter in his second year in the NFL. I wonder how he'll do in three to four years when his work ethic and improvement starts to pay off.

You'll have excuses the whole way for his success. I hope he makes the playoffs within the next 2-3 years just to see what your excuses are then.

You probably think taylor martinez should win the Heisman Trophy

I assume it will result in a 40% completion percentage

Obviously too early to write the book on Timmay but I will bet you $100 he wont win a playoff game in the next five years

I will take that bet. Get him a couple WR's to throw to and he will be successful.

His best receiver to throw to is Decker! Decker wouldn't start for a good chunk of NFL teams. His best RB today was Lance Ball. Lance Ball! He was 2 for 8 which stinks but I think 6 of his passes where 40 yards or further. Stretching the defense and keeping the safeties honest.

WR would definitely help and he has great intangibles but when it comes down to winning in the playoffs its usually against very solid D's in hostile environments. I dont see his inconsistency with accuracy playing well in that spot

I know this sounds odd but he has played in much more hostile environments than he will in the NFL. Playing at Alabama is louder than playing at San Diego.

He has to get better. A lot shorter/quicker release to be successful in the NFL but I'm not going to doubt Tim Tebow. All the kid does is win

The environments may be more hostile but the players in the NFL are much more hostile. The read option is giving defenses fits now but once they game plan for it his effectiveness will drop. Plus, how many hits can this guy take?
